Toefl Town Online
Toefl
Town Online (TTO) is owned and operated by Brook Davison and Ron Rice.
We have taught English for years in both Canada and Korea. During our
time in Korea we noticed that when students study for TOEFL, the focus
is on the memorization of vocabulary and reading and comprehension. Not
enough time is spent on developing writing skills. As a result the
Independent Writing Task of the TOEFL is a section that many students
have difficulty with. Good writing skills are essential in order to be
successful in post-secondary educational institutes.
Upon returning to Canada we continued to mark essays for Jeong Sang
Language School (JLS) in Seoul and Pusan for 3 years and have seen
marked improvement. We have decided to offer this invaluable
service to all ESL students across the globe.
Over 500,000 students write the TOEFL each year in the hopes of being
accepted to an English language university or college. We at TTO want
to help these students achieve their objectives. We can do this by
assisting ESL students at all levels with quality editing and feedback
on their English essays. |
